Welcome!  My name is Lea Nugent, owner, of Caring Transitions of Greater Lexington.  After spending 15 years in the area, I’ve seen many families struggle during some of life’s most stressful and overwhelming times -  such as a divorce, a life changing illness, an unexpected relocation, a business/personal foreclosure, the death of a loved one or the changing needs of an aging parent. This compelled me to start Caring Transitions, a business uniquely focused on the handling of personal belongings during transitions.

I am especially passionate about helping our local senior community.  As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and Certified Senior Relocation & Transition Specialist (CRTS), I am personally committed to understanding the key health, social and financial issues that are important to seniors and acting as a advocate for seniors and their families when faced with the overwhelming task of scaling down a home.  Not only do I welcome the business opportunity to serve seniors, but I also hope to share local resources and references that may help seniors and their caregivers live life well!
